Abstract

Ministries such as Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Labor and Social Security; Civil Society Organizations such as public institutions, labor-employer organizations, trade unions and unions have for many years emphasized that vocational and technical education is a serious problem in our country.
In this direction, many research reports, workshops and projects have been carried out. The development of vocational and technical education, which is frequently mentioned in development plans, national education policies and legal rules, can not be developed. The whole struggle is available, nationalization, benchmarking, qualifications of vocational education and quantitatively very serious shortcomings. This has been the subject of different studies in recent years. This is the first step in a series of studies. At this stage, university students, high school graduates, parents and business world vocational high school students will be tried to detect the legislative perceptions. In this first stage, the perception of vocational education of university students from different high schools is emphasized. Vocational training has been explored for reasons of preference. How the vocational high school students are perceived, the labeling and prejudices of the vocational high school students are researched. Especially the "vocational high school" typologies created in TV shows have been tried to have a negative effect. Thus, vocational education teacher tried to prove the difficulty of directing successful and skillful students to vocational education. A survey developed by the researcher in the study will have approximately 200 students studying at the university.
