Başkent University Journal of Education (BUJE) is a peer reviewed journal published biannually under the auspices of Başkent University, Ankara, Turkey. The languages of the journal are Turkish and English. This journal breaks new ground in the educational field by adopting a holistic approach to education, in which intellectual, moral, cultural and physical elements are inextricable. We seek to broaden our understanding of education of this kind by encouraging interventions from discipline-specific as well as transdisciplinary perspectives. We encourage researchers to offer case-studies, theoretical interventions, as well as pieces drawing on any of three major research methods in education - quantitative, qualitative or mixed methods. Discussion/review papers that provide in-depth analysis of critical issues in education are also welcome.
